I started as an actor in Los Angeles, doing theater with Sacred Fools and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade. That's where I learned that a voice can move people.
I played Gunseng Harkonnen, on camera and in voice, in the game Emperor: Battle for Dune. I also acted in the series Divergence and wrote 74 episodes of Vern Fonk Vision. Performing led me to hypnosis, which I started practicing in 2006.
Digital felt like the future, so I put my programs on iTunes, released my first App Store apps in 2010 and started my own publishing company in 2011. I've worked closely with Audible ever since, including a five-year exclusive starting in 2014.
Today the catalog includes more than 600 audiobooks, apps like Weight-Loss Hypnosis and MindfulSleep, and the Sleep Sounds & Meditation channel on Prime Video.
These days I build with AI, rebuilding my apps and producing voice work with new tools. I'm also documenting a new chapter on Later Abroad: traveling, working and exploring, starting in the Philippines.
